I look forward to getting to know each of you! I want you to be successful, to learn, and to enjoy Texas History. Every student deserves the best learning environment. To achieve these goals, there are a few rules that will help all of us have a positive, interactive, and engaging learning experience.
CLASSROOM PROCEDURES AND EXPECTATIONS
*Enter the classroom in an appropriate manner, be seated, and be ready to begin classroom activities.
*Bring materials, binder, and a pen/pencil to class EVERY DAY.
*Respect the rights, the opinions and the property of your classmates.
*Bring a positive attitude with you!
*Be responsible for your choices and for your actions.
*Do your best. Work hard. This is your job!
Daily Work/Quizzes 50% Tests 50%
You are considered tardy if you are not in the classroom when the tardy bell rings. Three tardies equals one absence.
If you do not turn in an assignment when it is due, you have ONE day to get the assignment to me. The highest score you can earn on a late assignment is a 70. After one day, you will receive a zero on the late assignment.
***LATE WORK FOR PRE-AP STUDENTS IS NOT ACCEPTED***
If you have an excused absence, you are allowed the same number of days to make up the work as the number of days you were absent.
