Peaster FFA was established in 1950 and has a rich history of success; Producing 3 Texas FFA State Officers (Eric Ribble, Chris Schofield, & Hannah Ford), numerous Area FFA Officers, 3 State Champion FFA Skills Teams, and recognized state-wide for our competitive teams and Ag Mechanics program.
Currently, we have 5 full-time Ag Teachers - Eric Ribble, Brent Wicker, Madison Staab, Brooke Diaz, and Stephen Valentine.
The Peaster FFA 2024 membership was 419 members. Over 100 of those actively compete in some type of FFA Activity each year. Leadership Teams, Judging Teams, Stock Shows, Ag Mechanics, Speaking Events and all things FFA.
The agriculture mechanics program at Peaster ISD has successfully competed at major stockshows across Texas for many years and earned a state-wide reputation for producing high quality projects and students that develop work-ready skills while in the program.
The floral design department at Peaster ISD has a program called Peaster Petals. Peaster Petals is an operation that offers monthly arrangements to subscribers of their program. They also provide arrangements for multiple PISD events and the Peaster Education Foundation.
