Abby and Hannah Wiley Commit to Eastern Kentucky University

Hannah & Abby began their softball journey playing t-ball at 5 years old.  They were on their first select team when they were 10 and their first travel softball team at the age of 13.   In high school, they have competed for the JV basketball and tennis teams and the Varsity track & softball teams.  They hold school records for the 4X100 and 4X200 relays in track.  In softball, Abby earned 1st Team All-District her freshman season and District 8-3A Defensive MVP her sophomore season.  She was also named to the Ft. Worth Star Telegram’s All-Area team in 2024.  Hannah was awarded 2nd Team All-District her sophomore year.  They were both named Academic All-District their Freshman and Sophomore years.

Off the field Hannah maintains a 4.7 weighted GPA and is ranked 1st in their class.  Abby also maintains a 4.7 GPA and is ranked 3rd.  Hannah & Abby both are active in the Peaster FCA and are a part of the SALT student leadership team at Northside Baptist Church.  Hannah is an Athletic Trainer and is the Corresponding Secretary for NHS.  Abby is a part of STUCO and is the Communications Officer for NHS.

Hannah and Abby are verbally committed to continue their academic and athletic careers together at Eastern Kentucky University. EKU is a highly competitive D1 program coming off a 42-10 season with a 21-3 conference record earning them the No 1 seed in the 2024 ASUN conference tournament.  Hannah will be pursuing her degree in Pre-Physical Therapy.  Abby plans on majoring in Dietetics/Nutrition.

They both give all Glory to God for the talent he has given them and his peace and guidance through their recruiting process.  They always had faith that they would end up where God wanted them and truly believe that EKU is that place!
