Peaster ISD has well-stocked libraries on each of the three campuses in the Peaster district. The library program and the High School library are administered by a certified librarian who holds a Master of Library Science degree. The Elementary and Middle School libraries are staffed by friendly and knowledgeable library assistants who specialize in connecting students with just the right book. A visit to any one of our libraries will reveal students browsing, reading, studying, researching, and collaborating.

Ever-growing print and online resources support the educational and recreational information needs of our teachers, students, and parents. Information literacy skills are taught formally and informally on an ongoing basis so that students understand how to navigate the unprecedented access to information that is part of the 21st century learning environment. Students are taught how to locate, evaluate, synthesize, and use information in an ethical manner.
